Harald Harfagre Viking King (c. 890-933)
Harald Harfagre became the king of Norway in 890 after the battle of Hafrsfjord. He set up his court at Avaldsnes on the island of Karmoy.
The design of this magnet is authentic in regards to appearance, accoutrements and coloring. He is holding an axe and a shield. This statuette is accompanied by a brief history about the Viking Age. This is a wonderfully detailed, hand painted magnet that measures approximately 3.25 inches tall and 1.25 inches wide at its widest point. While it is intended as a fridge magnet, it can also be free standing.
